Ryan Mayfield has never been especially interested in leadership ideas that sound good in the room but disappear once people return to work. After sitting through nearly every imaginable version of leadership training and personality assessment, he became frustrated by how rarely those experiences created lasting change.

That frustration led Ryan to build Your Teamwork Coach and continues to shape every endeavor represented here. Whether he is coaching leaders, facilitating construction teams, speaking from a stage, or creating tools for athletes and organizations, the work follows the same pattern: make a difficult problem easier to understand, then build a practical system people can use to navigate it.

Today, Ryan works with business leaders and teams across the country. His leadership content is used globally by teams from organizations including Google, Delta Air Lines, the U.S. Air Force, Pfizer, the University of Oklahoma, and Nike.

Ryan lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his wife, teenage son, and a beagle named Rooster. Away from work, he is usually thinking about good coffee, travel, or sports.
